Reaction of people of Lyari

Seeing the huge earnings of the film, the jealousy among the residents of Lyari region of Pakistan is clearly visible. In a viral video, local people were seen demanding a larger share of the film’s earnings. One person said, “He should give 80 percent of the earnings to Lyari. Making films is his job, if one doesn’t work, he will make another.”

Another person jokingly said that Cheel Chowk and the narrow streets of Lyari have earned money, so at least that area should be renovated. People say that the film has taken the name of their area, so now something should be returned. This video is becoming increasingly viral on social media and Indian users are taking it as a joke.

truth of film shooting

It is worth noting that the film was not shot in Pakistan. Director Aditya Dhar’s team built the entire set of Lyari on 6 acres in Bangkok (Thailand). From Cheel Chowk to the narrow streets were recreated very accurately. Indian and Thai artists created this set with the help of newspaper cuttings and old photographs.

Parts of the film were also shot in various locations in India such as Ludhiana, Mumbai, Amritsar, Leh and Ladakh. Despite so much hard work, the people of Lyari are claiming their right on the success of the film, which is being liked very much by the Indian audience.

Reasons for the success of Dhurandhar 2

Dhurandhar 2 has broken many old records. Ranveer Singh’s brilliant acting, action sequences and story were greatly appreciated by the audience. Since the story of the film is related to Pakistan, its impact is being seen in the neighboring country too, even if the film has not been released there.

This unique reaction of Pakistani people has become the subject of memes and jokes on social media. The film is still doing good collections in theaters and is expected to join the 1000 crore club soon.
