This multi-starrer film of director Aditya Dhar set a new record by earning Rs 466 crore in its first weekend.

‘Dhurandhar 2’ collection crosses Rs 613 crore

On the seventh day, i.e. Wednesday, the film earned another Rs 26 crore, taking the total collection to more than Rs 613 crore. The film was released on 19 March 2026 and coincided with the festivals of Gudi Padwa, Ugadi and Eid. Ranveer Singh has performed brilliantly in the double role of Hamza Ali Majri and Jaskirat Singh Rangi in this film.

Great mix of action and suspense

Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi and other actors are also seen in important roles in this film. The story of an Indian spy who is on a dangerous mission in Pakistan is a perfect blend of action, suspense and emotions. The audience is appreciating the film’s grandeur, VFX and Ranveer’s performance.

Surpassed lifetime collections of other films

The film has broken many records in the first weekend. Earning more than Rs 100 crore in three days in the opening weekend is a new milestone for any Bollywood film. Till now ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has crossed the lifetime collection of hit films like ‘Bahubali 2’, ‘Pathan’, ‘Gadar 2’ and ‘Animal’. It is also likely to surpass ‘Stree 2’, ‘Chhava’ and ‘Jawaan’ soon.

Tremendous response from the audience

The main reason for the success of the film is the tremendous response from the audience. Word of mouth is so strong that theaters are running housefull even on weekdays. Occupancy rates in IMAX and 2D formats are at record levels. The film has performed brilliantly in foreign countries also.

Worldwide collection close to 1000 crores

More than Rs 199 crore were earned from the overseas market in the first weekend itself, taking the worldwide collection to Rs 675 crore. Now in seven days the worldwide figure has reached close to Rs 1000 crore. The first film ‘Dhurandhar’ also performed well in December 2025, but its sequel has gone even further than that.
