Anupam Kher started his career in 1984 with Mahesh Bhatt’s film ‘Saaransh’. Amount increased due to inflation

In an interview, Anupam Kher said, ‘Mahesh Bhatt sir gave me my first break. So after every film I give him Rs 25,000. Earlier this amount was only Rs 250, then it became Rs 500 and now due to inflation it has become Rs 25,000. This is our old tradition. Bhatt Saheb jokingly says that inflation has increased, hence the amount has also increased.

Anupam Kher takes pride in the fact that he honors his guru in this unique way. He said that this money is a small effort to thank Mahesh Bhatt for his first opportunity. In the interview, Anupam Kher also expressed his opinion on the possible remake of ‘Saaransh’. He said that if there is ever a remake, he would like to do it in an action version. ‘I want to do Saaransh 2 as an action film. I spoke to Mahesh Bhatt a month ago. I told him that now I want to do action because I am working hard on my body. I want to do something in the ‘Taken’ style, where my character helps people through action.
