Controversial dialogue of the film ‘Dhurandhar’

Mumbai: Ranveer Singh’s new film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ has created a lot of discussion among the audience. Its songs, dialogues and visuals are trending on social media. However, one particular dialogue has sparked controversy. Actor Vivek Sinha, who plays Pakistani terrorist Zahoor Mistry in the film, is now embroiled in controversy himself.

A dialogue of Vivek, in which it is said, ‘Hindus are really a fearful community’, has quickly gone viral. This line angered many viewers. Instead of accepting it as part of the film, people personally disagreed with Vivek. He started receiving threats and criticism on social media, and some users even talked about hitting him through the screen.

Vivek expressed his views on this controversy in a recent interview. He told that a woman sent him a message on Instagram, in which it was written, ‘You should be ashamed that you are saying such things being a Hindu.’ Vivek was surprised to see that people were not able to differentiate between his real life and screen character.

Sharing a video on Instagram, Vivek said, ‘My name is Vivek Sinha and I am not a terrorist. I am not from Pakistan, but from Bijnor (Dhampur) and now live in Mumbai. He further said, ‘So angry? So many comments are coming that I look like a terrorist. Vivek appreciated patriotism.

He said that he was happy to see the anger of the people, because it shows how much love and anger people have towards the country. But he also reminded that whatever is in the film is only a character. In real life he is an ordinary actor. Vivek’s character is quite impressive in the film, and he played the terrorist in such a way that the audience went wild.

Vivek said that we cannot call the real terrorist in the film, hence the actor plays the role. This is just acting, not a personal opinion. His statement is much discussed, and the audience is appreciating Vivek’s performance in the film.
