Kedarnath Helicopter Tour: How to book tickets through IRCTC? Know the complete process, fare and route details

Important news for the devotees going on Kedarnath Yatra. Chardham Yatra is going to start from 19th April. The doors of Kedarnath Dham will open on 22nd April. Booking of helicopter service for the devotees going on Kedarnath Yatra is starting from 12 noon today (April 11).

When will the journey start?

According to the information, booking for helicopter service can be done only from the official website of IRCTC, heliyatra.irctc.co.in. This booking will be valid for journeys from 22nd April to 15th June. Registration on Uttarakhand Tourism Portal is mandatory before booking tickets. While booking tickets, keep in mind that a maximum of six tickets can be booked from one ID.

How to book tickets?

First of all go to the official website heliyatra.irctc.co.in. After clicking on the “Book Ticket” option, follow the instructions given. Devotees going on Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand will also have to register on Uttarakhand Tourism Portal. Based on this registration, time for helicopter tour can be booked by visiting IRCTC website (heliyatra.irctc.co.in).

What will be the price?

Helicopter services to Kedarnath operate from three places: Guptkashi, Phata and Sirsi. Round-trip ticket price from Guptkashi to Kedarnath is around ₹12,762, from Phata to Kedarnath is ₹10,164 and from Sirsi to Kedarnath is ₹6,390.

The administration has warned devotees to beware of fraudulent websites, WhatsApp numbers and offers on social media. Such cases have come to light earlier also. Therefore, make reservations only through the official platform.
