Divorce process completed in Hisar Court

World champion boxing player Sweety Boora, who hails from Hisar, Haryana, and her husband Deepak Hooda, a former captain of the Indian Kabaddi team, have divorced. Both of them decided to separate with mutual consent in Hisar Court. Sweety’s lawyer Sunil Tiwari confirmed this.

Both were present in the court at the time of divorce. Sweety told the court that it is no longer possible for her to live with Deepak. Deepak declined to comment on the matter. Before the divorce, Sweety had demanded Rs 50 lakh for maintenance and Rs 1.50 lakh for monthly expenses, but eventually the couple divorced amicably without any compensation.

Sweety and Deepak were married in 2022, but their relationship broke down in February 2025. There were serious allegations and counter-allegations between the two. Sweety had accused Deepak of dowry harassment, assault, snatching passport and mental harassment.

Sweety had also accused him of attempting to kill her. The dispute had escalated so much that there was a scuffle between the two in the women’s police station. On the basis of these allegations, a case was registered in Mahila police station of Hisar. Now with the decision of divorce this long dispute has ended.
