Ali Asgar, who rose to fame playing Dadi in Comedy Nights with Kapil, recently revealed the reason for leaving the show. He said that he started feeling trapped in this character. Ali described it as akin to dal-chawal, saying that he was playing it because he had no other option.

Ali Asgar, while talking about leaving his grandmother’s character in Kapil Sharma’s show, said that his son had to face a lot of problems because of this character. He described it as a difficult time for his family. Ali said that he was stuck in the same type of characters and now he wanted to play different types of characters.
