Method of making koftas from watermelon peels

Watermelon is a fruit that is liked by people of all ages. It is considered a refreshing fruit especially in summer. However, its peels are often thrown away. Today we will tell you how a delicious recipe can be made using these peels. Let us know the simple method of making koftas from watermelon peels.
Material
Watermelon (peeled) medium size
Gram flour 1/2 cup
salt as per taste
Red chilli powder 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Onion 1 medium
Garlic 8-10 cloves
Tomato 1 medium
oil for frying
Method
First peel the green part of the watermelon peel. Then wash them well and cut them into small pieces. Pour some water in a cooker and add these peels and let it cook for 2 whistles. Once cooled, drain the water and grind them in a grinder to make a paste. Take out this paste in a bowl and add gram flour, salt, red chilli and coriander powder to it. Now heat oil in a pan and make koftas from this mixture and deep fry them.
When all the koftas are ready, leave 2 tablespoons of oil in the pan and drain the rest. Add garlic and onion paste to this oil and fry. Then add ground tomato, salt, red chilli, turmeric and coriander powder and mix well. Fry the spices on low flame until the oil separates. Add water as required and when it comes to a boil, add the prepared koftas. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with hot rotis.
