Successful completion of expression art exhibition, huge crowd of spectators
Art exhibition concludes in Supwa
Rohtak: The art exhibition ‘Abhivyanjana’ organized at Dada Lakhmichand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLCSUPVA) concluded on Sunday. The exhibition was running for the last eight days and attracted art lovers, students, teachers and the general public. The exhibition was formally concluded with the flag off in which the Registrar of the University, Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha was the chief guest.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the University’s Chancellor and Governor Professor Asim Kumar Ghosh on May 3. The exhibition was held in its 11th edition and was initially scheduled to run till May 8, but due to huge demand from the visitors, it was extended by two more days.
In the closing ceremony, Dr. Gunjan Malik appreciated the exhibition and congratulated all the staff members and students. He said that the event was a living example of the talent and creativity of the students. Although the formal closing of the exhibition took place in the afternoon, it was opened to the general public till 5 pm.

Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Amit Arya congratulated everyone for the successful event. He said that this type of exhibition showcases the hard work of the students throughout the year. This time the exhibition included more than two thousand artworks by more than 300 students, which included painting, installation, sculpture and digital art.
During the exhibition many academicians and administrative officials observed the art of the students. Dr. Amit Arya said that in future this exhibition will be organized on a more extensive scale, so that more and more people can see the creativity of the students.
Celebration of cultural programs
Vinay Kumar, Coordinator of the Faculty of Visual Arts, said that ‘Abhivyanjna’ was not just an art exhibition, but it also became a platform for cultural expression. Cultural programs were organized on open stage in the exhibition, in which students performed dance, music, singing and acting.
Along with art lovers, students from many schools also visited the exhibition and left with an inspiring experience. Vinay Kumar said that efforts will be made to organize an even better event in future.
