Ban on Ranveer Singh: Strict action taken by FWICE
FWICE’s big action on Ranveer Singh
Mumbai: A shocking news has come for the fans of Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh. Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) on Monday banned Ranveer from working in the film industry. This decision has been taken after the actor suddenly walked out of Farhan Akhtar’s much-awaited film ‘Don 3’. The film body has issued a ‘non-cooperation’ directive against Ranveer, which could have a serious impact on his career.
Reason for sudden exit from Don 3
When it was announced in 2023 that Ranveer Singh will be seen as the new ‘Don’, there was excitement among the audience. But even before the shooting of the film started, Ranveer distanced himself from the project. According to sources, the actor was not satisfied with the script and creative aspects of the film, which led to his decision.
Farhan Akhtar’s loss of Rs 40 crores
This decision of Ranveer has come as a big shock to the producers of the film. According to reports, Farhan Akhtar has complained to FWICE that his production company has suffered a loss of around Rs 40 crore due to the actor’s sudden exit. A lot of money had already been spent on the pre-production and preparations of the film.
Strict instructions from FWICE
After this controversy escalated, FWICE announced in a press conference to issue ‘non-cooperation instructions’ against Ranveer. The film body has clearly directed that no producer or director should work with Ranveer until this dispute is resolved. This ban is a big blow for Ranveer after a few months of the success of ‘Dhurandhar 2’.
