According to a report, a bid of US $ 30,204, i.e. more than Rs 25 lakh was received for one kilogram of it. For this reason it is considered to be the most expensive coffee in the world. This coffee is served in a special way in many premium cafes of Dubai.

The main reason for its high price is its rarity. Geisha coffee is cultivated in extremely limited quantities and has taken years of research to improve its quality. It is said that this record-setting coffee took about 13 years to develop.

According to experts, it contains flavor notes like lilac, cocoa, apricot, tangerine and sandalwood. When hot, it smells like jasmine, while when cool, flavors like mango and litchi come to the fore.
There is a big craze for this coffee in Dubai and Japan also. In some cafes of Taiwan and Japan, the price of a cup of coffee has reached Rs 60 thousand to Rs 84 thousand. Experts believe that due to climate change and limited production, its prices may increase further in the coming years.
