Some simple tips for eye care:

  • Eyes should be washed with cold water as soon as you wake up in the morning. This improves eyesight.
  • Before sleeping at night, soak some almonds in water and leave them. Eating them after peeling them in the morning improves eyesight.
  • Consumption of carrots is very beneficial for the eyes. It contains rich amounts of Vitamin A, C and E. Carrot juice is also beneficial.
  • Massage the soles of your feet with mustard oil before sleeping at night. This keeps the eyes healthy.
  • Drink green tea two to three times a day. It contains anti-oxidants, which are beneficial for the eyes.
  • Eat green vegetables, like spinach and cabbage. Orange, lemon and papaya also help in improving eyesight.
  • Before sleeping at night, soak Triphala in water and wash your eyes with that water in the morning. This will keep the eyes healthy and there will be no need for glasses.
