Rain on Monday morning provided relief to the people troubled by the scorching heat that has been going on in Delhi for the last few days. This seasonal change was also seen in other areas of Delhi and NCR, which received light to moderate rainfall.

The temperature dropped due to rain, which gave relief to the people from the heat. The temperature has gone below normal. However, the Meteorological Department has warned that this relief is temporary. There is a possibility of clear weather and increase in temperature in Delhi and NCR in the coming days.

The temperature will be around 40 degrees till June 20.

People were quite worried due to the heat on Sunday. In the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature increased by 4.8 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature increased by 2.9 degrees Celsius. There is a possibility of strong sunshine in the next week. According to Meteorological Department data, the maximum temperature can reach 41 to 42 degrees Celsius by June 20.

This year the south-west monsoon is progressing normally. It is continuously active and has covered almost half of India. According to the latest forecast of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), weather activities will remain intense over various regions of the country in the next few days.

The Meteorological Department says that conditions are favorable for the further advance of the south-west monsoon. In the next two to three days, it may reach Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, parts of Odisha and South Chhattisgarh. If the monsoon continues to advance at this pace, it will probably cover most of India by the end of June.
