Akshay Kumar’s Vaishno Devi visit
Famous Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar recently worshiped at the famous Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Cave Temple located in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. According to officials, Kumar visited Katra for this pilgrimage and proceeded towards the holy cave from there.
There was a lot of enthusiasm among the local residents and devotees regarding this visit of the actor.
Many people had gathered around the temple premises and on the route to get a glimpse of the film star.
Officials said Akshay paid obeisance at the cave temple and spent some time in prayers before returning.
The visit comes at a time when the number of pilgrims is increasing due to preparations for the Amarnath Yatra and summer holidays.
Special prayer organized
According to officials, Akshay Kumar bowed his head with reverence at the holy cave of Maa Vaishno Devi. He performed special worship of Mata Rani and spent some time praying in solitude there.
Strict security arrangements
This visit of Akshay Kumar has taken place amidst the summer holidays and preparations for Amarnath Yatra, due to which lakhs of pilgrims are reaching Katra for the darshan of Mata.
In view of the crowd, the administration and the Shrine Board made elaborate arrangements for the safety and smooth darshan of the actor, so that other devotees do not face any problem.
