Mirzapur teaser surfaced
Mumbai Finally after a long wait, the world of Mirzapur is coming in front of the audience once again. The teaser of ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ has been released, giving a glimpse of the most awaited cinematic event of this year. For the first time, the famous world of Mirzapur is coming out of the OTT platform and hitting the theatres, which will entertain the audience with its unique depth, great story and grandeur. Staying connected to the first season that debuted in 2018, the film takes the saga forward with a new untold story. The film is scheduled to release on September 4, 2026, which promises to take fans to a new theatrical experience.
In the teaser, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi and Divyendu welcome the audience to the world of Mirzapur, while Jitendra Kumar returns as ‘Bablu Pandit’, which is a special moment for the fans. The saga also includes the new presence of Ravi Kishan, who adds a new dimension to the Mirzapur universe. From the streets of Purvanchal to the deserts of Rajasthan, this story is expanding more than ever before, striving to bring its fascinating world and large-scale story to theaters in every region.
The film’s cast includes Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Dugal, Mohit Malik, Sheeba Chaddha, Rajesh Tailang, Pramod Pathak, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Shweta Tripathi and Sonal S Chauhan, who have come together to bring to life a new unheard chapter in the world of Mirzapur.
‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ is presented by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment. It is directed by Gurmeet Singh, while Puneet Krishna has written the script. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, the film is set for a grand release on 4 September 2026. It will also be released in Hindi and Telugu languages, so that it can reach more audiences.
