Samsung Galaxy Glasses: Smart Eyewear debut with new technology

Introducing Samsung Galaxy Glasses

Samsung has planned to take a new step in the field of technology, which is increasing enthusiasm among consumers. Last year in December, the company had revealed plans to expand its Galaxy wearables ecosystem at the Android Show.

The company has confirmed that it is going to launch its first smart glasses with AI-supported devices soon. In May, at Google’s annual developers conference, Samsung teamed up with eyewear makers Warby Parker and Gentle Monster to showcase the first two models of smart glasses. Recently, new information about the Galaxy Glass has emerged in leaked screenshots of its companion app, which includes images of the smart glasses and their charging cases.

Working of Galaxy Glasses Manager App

Samiguru has shared screenshots of the Samsung Galaxy Glasses Manager app, which will act as a companion app for these smart glasses. This app will provide information about the upcoming Samsung wearables, as well as information about the charging case.

To connect the smart glasses to their smartphone, users will first have to remove the protective film from the nose bridge and then turn on the power switch located on the left arm. The Galaxy Glasses Manager app will ask users to place the smart glasses in the charging case. As soon as the light on the case starts blinking, users will be able to pair the wearable with their handset.

One UI XR with Galaxy Glass

Once Samsung Galaxy Glass is paired with a user’s smartphone, they will be able to manage settings, install software updates, and toggle various features through the Galaxy Glass Manager app. Additionally, it will also allow users to import videos and photos to their phone, change AI assistant settings, and locate the smart glasses through the ‘Find My Glasses’ feature.

Although the company has not yet confirmed the launch date, a recent report suggested that Samsung will hold its next Galaxy Unpacked event in London on July 22, where the new Galaxy Glasses may be launched.
