Neha Dhupia’s new journey
Mumbai: Well-known Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia has stepped into the international arena with her film ‘Blue 52’. The film will be screened at the British Film Institute Southbank on July 9 and will be the opening film of the 17th London Indian Film Festival (LIFF). On this occasion he shared his thoughts.
Neha said, “It is a matter of pride for our entire team to have the European premiere of our film at BFI Southbank. Sharing this moment with Adil Hussain and other talented co-stars makes it even more special.”
She added, “Having a world-renowned personality like Lionel Messi attached to the film makes it even more attractive internationally. I’m looking forward to seeing the audience reaction in London and celebrating this journey with everyone who contributed to the making of ‘Blue 52’.”
The grand premiere will include Neha Dhupia, famous actor Adil Hussain and the entire cast of the film. Neha said that ‘Blue 52’ will always be a special film for her, as it is her first international project, and seeing it at a prestigious festival like the London Indian Film Festival is like a dream.
She said, “As an actress, we are always looking for stories that touch and challenge us. This film has done just that for me. The positive response to the trailer has excited me, especially the love for my character and performance. It gives me confidence that the audience is connecting with the emotional depth of the film.”
Directed by Ali Al Arabi, the film tells the story of Ashish, who is alienated by his father. At the age of 23, he runs away from home with the support of his mother to meet his idol Messi at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. It is a journey that provides him an opportunity to know himself and the world.
