Anshula Kapoor wore her late mother’s scarf at her wedding

Anshula Kapoor’s emotional wedding story

Mumbai: Social media influencer and Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor’s sister Anshula Kapoor recently shared an emotional experience during her wedding. He told that on his special day he kept the memories of his late mother with him.

Anshula said that on the wedding day, she wanted to keep one special item with her, which was her mother’s 42-year-old golden tissue and zardosi dupatta.

She shared some beautiful pictures from the wedding ceremony on her social media, in which she is seen in an antique rose colored lehenga. Layered emerald and pearl jewelery made her look even more beautiful.

Her outfit was beautifully complemented by her mother’s inherited dupatta, which had golden tissue and zardosi work.

Along with this, she also wore a Bandhani Ghar Chola Dupatta, which was a tribute to the family she joined after marriage.

Sharing the importance of her bridal look, Anshula wrote, “When I became a bride, I knew I wanted to keep my mother’s dupatta with me. Everything else was planned around that.”

He further added, “With Tarun Tahiliani and Mohit Rai and Ruchi Krishna Styles, every detail was created based on what was most special to me about the heritage.”

Anshula thanked designer Tarun Tahiliani, who brought her idea to life and created a bridal ensemble that was timeless and personal.

It is worth noting that Anshula is the daughter of filmmaker Boney Kapoor and late Mona Shourie Kapoor. Mona died on 25 March 2012 after a long battle with cancer.

Anshula Kapoor married her long-time boyfriend Rohan Thakkar in a private but lavish ceremony in Mumbai.
