To avoid this, experts recommend adopting correct sitting posture. Keep the computer screen at eye level, a chair that provides adequate back support, and every 30 to 45 minutes, get up for a few minutes or do light stretching. Regular exercise, neck and shoulder exercises and a balanced lifestyle can also help reduce the risk of cervical problems.

If neck pain persists, weakness is felt in the hands or the pain increases, it is necessary to consult a doctor or physiotherapist instead of treating it yourself. With timely detection and proper care, many cervical problems can be controlled before they become serious.
