1. Not all vegetables need to be kept in the refrigerator
Most people keep the vegetables brought from the market directly in the refrigerator, although not all vegetables require cold temperatures. It is more advisable to keep things like potato, onion, garlic, ginger and raw banana in an airy and dry place.
2. Store vegetables by keeping them dry, not by washing them.
If vegetables are washed and kept in the refrigerator, moisture remains on them, which can cause them to become moldy. It would be better to wash the vegetables before using them.
3. Keep leafy vegetables in a paper towel
Leafy vegetables like spinach, fenugreek, coriander, mint and lettuce wilt quickly. Wrapping them in a paper towel or cotton cloth and keeping them in a container removes excess moisture and keeps them fresh for a longer time.
4. Do not overfill the fridge
