CJP Government Meeting: A meeting was to be held in the Constitutional House with the Central Government today in Delhi regarding the demands of the Cockroach Janata Party. But at the last moment the place of the meeting was suddenly changed. Now the meeting is being held in Vitthal House, Delhi. Party spokesperson Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka have attended the meeting as representatives of CJP.

At the same time, two ministers from the government, Union Minister JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh have joined the meeting. Before attending the meeting, Abhijeet Deepke claimed that nothing less than the resignation of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan would be accepted. If the government does not fulfill this demand then this movement will continue. Today, agitation is being organized in every district across the country regarding this.

Cabinet meeting chaired by PM Modi

On the other hand, the cabinet meeting is also going on in Delhi under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Major decisions will be taken in the cabinet meeting regarding the paper leak case. This meeting is considered important because there is a possibility of discussion on bringing more transparency in competitive examinations. The Cabinet may also consider amending the existing law to make it more stringent, and a detailed review of the legal provisions is also on the agenda.

Several ministers will attend the meeting, where possible changes in the draft of the proposed law can be discussed. Late last night the Prime Minister had indicated that strict laws would be brought in to ensure greater transparency in rules and laws.

Fine of Rs 10 crore and 10 years imprisonment

Amid the ongoing protests in Delhi over this issue, the Modi government is preparing to bring a new law to deal with paper leaks. According to sources, the proposed law includes a provision to ensure verdict on paper leak cases within three months, with fast-track courts delivering sentences within that time frame. The law also includes a jail sentence of up to 10 years and a fine of up to Rs 10 crore.
