Cloud of fear with the threat of war again! Iran’s ‘Trump Card’ scared of the US President?

Although the Iran-US Ceasefire Talk is still in force, the situation has gradually worsened due to the renewed conflict. US President Donald Trump has started to threaten Tehran with war again. As a result, the peace agreement between the two countries is still far away. But despite the constant threat, is the US president at all relieved? Not so, according to experts. He is appalled by the ‘trump card’ held by Iran.

But what is this ‘trump card’? This is Iran’s possession of enriched uranium. Iran has been aiming to develop nuclear weapons for many years. That is why they are stockpiling uranium. But on February 28, America-Israel launched a terrible missile attack on Tehran. Washington claims that most of the uranium stored in that operation was destroyed. But still some remains. Tehran wants to build nuclear weapons with that. Experts call this surviving uranium ‘trump card’. Note that uranium is one of the materials used to build nuclear weapons. According to the International Atomic Energy Agency, before the US attack, Iran had 440.9 kg of 60 percent enriched uranium, 184.1 kg of 20 percent enriched uranium, 6024.4 kg of 5 percent enriched uranium, and 2391.1 kg of 2 percent enriched uranium.

Among the conditions that Trump gave to Iran for a cease-fire were to allow free passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz and hand over to Washington the amount of enriched uranium in Tehran’s possession. Iran must refrain from building nuclear weapons. But Tehran is unwilling to accept these American conditions. Because of this, the two countries are unable to come to an agreement.
