'Sit at home otherwise we will break your hands and legs', Ramesh Bidhuri's nephew beats up AAP workers, CM Atishi alleges hooliganism, demands paramilitary force from EC

CM Atishi Accuses Ramesh Bidhuri Nephew of Hooliganism: The round of allegations and counter allegations continues in Delhi Assembly Elections 2025. Meanwhile, a big allegation has been made against the nephew of BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri. CM Atishi has accused Aam Aadmi Party workers of assault and assault. The Chief Minister has complained to the Election Commission alleging hooliganism. He has also demanded from the Election Commission to deploy Paramilitary Force.

On Tuesday, Delhi CM Atishi accused BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri's nephew of assault, assault and hooliganism by AAP workers in Kalkaji assembly constituency. He has written a letter to the Election Commission regarding this. Complaining to the Election Commission, Atishi has also demanded deployment of para military force in Kalkaji constituency.

Chief Minister Atishi has alleged in a letter to the Election Commission that Ramesh Bidhuri's nephew is engaged in hooliganism to influence the ongoing election process. According to Atishi, the nephew of the BJP leader threatened the Aam Aadmi Party workers and said that 'Sit at home otherwise we will break our arms and legs. This is our choice. The CM has demanded the Election Commission to deploy paramilitary forces in Kalkaji to ensure the security of voters and party workers. There has been no reaction from Ramesh Bidhuri or any BJP leader on these allegations of Atishi.

Voting will be held in one phase on 5 February

A total of 699 candidates are in the fray for 70 assembly seats in Delhi. Among these, the maximum number of candidates are from New Delhi Assembly seat, a total of 23 candidates are in the fray from here. The lowest is in Patel Nagar and Kasturba Nagar, 5 candidates each are trying their luck on these two seats. Voting will be held in a single phase on February 5 for all 70 assembly seats of Delhi. The result will be declared on 8th February.

Let us tell you that in the assembly elections held in the year 2020, Aam Aadmi Party had won 62 out of 70 seats. Whereas Bharatiya Janata Party had won 8 seats. In the 2015 assembly elections, AAP had captured 67 seats while BJP had captured 3 seats. Congress could not even open its account in both these elections.
