Delhi Chief Minister Atishi on Wednesday inaugurated the 2.2 km long Apsara Border to Anand Vihar flyover. With its commencement, three signals on the road will be abolished. This will make people's journey pleasant. Chief Minister Atishi said that construction of Ghaziabad flyover from Delhi will save time for drivers. This will also reduce the use of diesel and petrol in vehicles.
Permission to cut two trees has still not been granted on this flyover built between Apsara Border and Anand Vihar. They estimate that this will save 40300 liters of petrol and diesel. This will reduce carbon gas emissions equivalent to cleaning the air of about 5900 trees.

This flyover built on Road No. 56 will provide relief to Ramprastha Colony Ghaziabad, Vivek Vihar, Vigyan Vihar and Shrestha Vihar from the jam at red light. Earlier the journey of two and a half kilometers used to take 20 to 25 minutes, but now it will take less than five minutes.

The people of Ghaziabad have also got relief with the opening of a flyover from Apsara Border to Anand Vihar in Delhi. Every day about 50 thousand vehicles go from here towards Anand Vihar. Now Anand Vihar will be reached in five to seven minutes, whereas earlier it used to take half an hour. Most of the people going to Delhi used to face delay in reaching office, but now that the flyover has started, they can reach Ghaziabad in five to seven minutes.
