Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has announced to issue a 24-hour helpline to help the Punjabis stranded here due to the increasing tension and war-like circumstances in some parts of the Middle East. Committed to help in every possible way

The Chief Minister said that the State Government is in constant touch with the Government of India to ensure the safe and early return of the stranded people. He clarified that the Punjab government is closely monitoring the situation. At the same time, it is committed to providing every possible help to the affected people. Assuring full support to the affected families, the Chief Minister said, “Many Punjabis are facing serious difficulties due to the tense situation arising in the Arab countries. If any person or his family member is stranded here, then immediately contact the helpline numbers issued. The state government is fully prepared to help them.”

There is no need for the family to panic

He informed that a dedicated helpline and control room has been set up for this purpose, which will be operational 24×7. The information received will be immediately passed on to the concerned departments and the Government of India, so that the process of relief and evacuation can be expedited. Reiterating the government’s commitment, Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “We are committed to providing all necessary assistance to the stranded people at the earliest. No family needs to panic – the Punjab government stands firmly with them in this difficult time.”
