CM Bhajan Lal Sharma’s message on World Heritage Day, said – Heritage conservation is the responsibility of all of us.

On the occasion of World Heritage Day, Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, while wishing the people of the state, gave the message of preserving the rich historical and cultural heritage of Rajasthan. He said that the heritage of Rajasthan is not only the identity of the state, but it is also an invaluable heritage of our ancestors, which is the responsibility of all of us to preserve.

In his message, the Chief Minister said that Rajasthan is famous all over the world for its grand architecture, historical forts, palaces and cultural diversity. Heritage sites like Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Amer Fort, Jantar Mantar, Kumbhalgarh and Chittorgarh are not only tourist attractions but are also living symbols of our glorious tradition and history.

He said that heritage is not limited to buildings only, but it is a reflection of our culture, traditions and life values. It is the common responsibility of all of us to preserve it and pass it on safely to the coming generations.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is continuously making efforts for heritage conservation, promotion and tourism development. Various schemes are being run for the restoration, beautification and promotion of heritage sites at the global level, so that Rajasthan can get a stronger identity on the world tourism map.

He called upon the people of the state to take a pledge on this occasion that they will maintain the cleanliness of the historical sites, will not damage them and will play the role of responsible tourists.

Referring to the tradition of ‘Padharo Mhare Desh’, the Chief Minister said that Rajasthan will continue to attract tourists from India and abroad on the strength of its heritage and will touch new heights in the field of tourism.
