CM Dhami gave strict warning regarding negligence in road repair.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed to take action against engineers who were negligent in road repair work. He said that where the work has not been completed yet, it should be completed as soon as possible.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reviewed the road repair campaign in the state on Tuesday. Taking information about the road repair work from the officials, he said that they should identify the officials and engineers who are not doing the work properly and take action against them.

He said that where the work has not been completed even within the stipulated time, the work should be completed as soon as possible. It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had given instructions to make the roads in the state pothole free by October 15.

According to the report of the Public Works Department, the work in the state was almost completed. But complaints were received about non-completion of work at many places. In view of this, Chief Minister Dhami has given instructions to take strict action against those who are negligent in road repair work.

Report sought from District Magistrates: After Chief Minister Dhami's instructions to take action against engineers who are negligent in road repair work, Secretary PWD Dr. Pankaj Pandey has sought report from all the District Magistrates regarding roads. PWD HOD DK Yadav has asked for verification report from the chief engineers. He said that further action will be taken after receiving the report.

Appeal to use local products on Diwali

During the meeting, the Chief Minister also gave instructions to promote local products during Diwali. He also appealed to the common people that in view of the festival of lights, more and more local products should be used and encouraged. The Chief Minister said that this will not only support local entrepreneurs and artisans but will also strengthen campaigns like Vocal for Local and Self-reliant India.
