CM Dr Mohan Yadav gifted development works worth more than Rs 650 crore to Satna, gave the name of Atal ji to ISBT

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav today handed over development works worth more than Rs 650 crore to Satna, inaugurated the newly constructed ISBT at a cost of Rs 31 crore and announced naming it ‘Atal Bihari Vajpayee Interstate Bus Stand’. The CM also inaugurated the renovation work of Dhwari Cricket Stadium and performed the bhoomi pujan of the new 650 bedded hospital to be constructed at a cost of Rs 383 crore.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that we are proud of Bharat Ratna Late. Celebrating the birth centenary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Realistic development (Abhyudaya) of Madhya Pradesh is taking place in the birth centenary year of Atal ji. In Madhya Pradesh, we are run by families, not governments. Considering every house of the state as a family, decisions are being taken in public interest. There is Antyodaya as well as Gramodaya in our decisions. Satna district has been the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram. Therefore our government will develop Chitrakoot as a grand and divine place. The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a lot of development work to Satna by gifting the Smart City Scheme.

Newly constructed ISBT named after Atal Bihari Vajpayee

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the inauguration and foundation stone laying program organized at ISBT campus of Satna on Saturday. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the newly constructed ISBT at a cost of Rs 31 crore and announced to name it ‘Atal Bihari Vajpayee Interstate Bus Stand’. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that ISBT has been built in Satna. The state government is also fully prepared that the operation of government buses will start in the state from the new year. In the name of Chief Minister Sugam Public Transport Service, affordable and convenient bus transport service will be started in every village of the state. Luxury buses will be run in cities.

The length of the airstrip will increase by 1800 meters.

While announcing, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the present length of the airstrip of Satna airport will be increased to 1800 meters, so that jet aircraft can also land here. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that every corner of Satna district will be irrigated. Satna district will get full benefit of Bargi Canal Project. This will provide permanent irrigation facility to more than 1.5 lakh hectares of agricultural land here.

Foundation stone of 650 bedded new hospital building

The Chief Minister said that the foundation stone of a new 650 bedded hospital building in Satna has been laid. Satna has been blessed with many development works through Amrit 2.0 scheme. A modern cricket stadium has also been inaugurated here at a cost of Rs 7 crore. Day-night cricket matches can be held in it. The Chief Minister said that the state government always stands with the people for development. In the new year, 1.5 lakh hectare additional land in Satna district will be irrigated from Bargi Canal. With the blessings of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Chitrakoot will also benefit from the Ken-Betwa river linking project. We will also provide adequate water to all the pilgrim centers of the state.

The whole week was full of gifts

Dr. Yadav said that this entire week has been a historic week for the development of Madhya Pradesh. Bhoomipujan of medical colleges was conducted on PPP model in Dhar and Betul. “Abhyudaya Madhya Pradesh Growth Summit” was organized in Gwalior. A total of industrial development works worth more than Rs 2 lakh crore were inaugurated and the foundation stone was laid. Bhopal Metro started and today the development of Vindhya is also getting new wings.

There will be no shortage of development: Kailash Vijayvargiya

Urban Development and Housing Minister and Minister in-charge of Satna district, Kailash Vijayvargiya said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Satna has joined the Smart City in the double engine government. He said that he is the Urban Development Minister of the state, hence he will not leave any stone unturned in the urban development of Satna district.
