Maharashtra Governor, Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister paid tribute to the heroes of 26/11
Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan, CM Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, Ajit Pawar on Tuesday paid tribute to the 16th anniversary of the Mumbai terror attacks. In 2008, 174 people including 20 soldiers, 26 foreigners were killed and more than 300 people were injured in the 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attacks. President Draupadi Murmu and many Union Ministers also paid tribute to the martyred soldiers. The President wrote- A grateful nation salutes its brave security personnel who have made the supreme sacrifice for the security of our people. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said- Terrorism is a stain on the entire human civilization. Modi government’s ‘zero tolerance’ policy against terrorism has been appreciated by the entire world and today India has become the world leader in anti-terrorism initiatives.
