CM face will not be announced before the elections of 7 states including UP-Gujarat, high command changed strategy CM face will not be announced before the elections of 7 states including UP-Gujarat, high command changed strategy – ..
The biggest news of this time is coming out from the political circles of the country. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has prepared a very surprising and unprecedented organizational strategy for next year’s high-profile assembly elections in seven states, including Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat. According to the news coming from the central leadership, the party will not announce in advance the name of any future Chief Minister (CM Face) in the upcoming elections. Instead, the elections will be fought entirely on the strength of collective leadership and the existing organization. After meticulously analyzing the election trends and internal feedback of the last few years, the top strategists of BJP have given their final approval to this new game plan, the direct aim of which is to take the success percentage in the electoral states to a record level.
Preparation to put a full stop on anti-incumbency wave and internal strife
According to information received from highly reliable sources of the party, BJP’s think-tank believes that presenting any one name as the Chief Ministerial candidate even before the elections creates many administrative and organizational challenges. This not only strengthens the anti-incumbency environment in the concerned state, but also activates parallel currents of factionalism within the ticket distribution and organization. When the CM face is not announced, every worker and senior leader of the party considers himself in the race and throws himself into the election field with full force. Due to this, the opposition camp also does not get any opportunity to target any one face or make personal attacks.
The election will be fought under the leadership of the present Chief Ministers and the suspense will remain intact.
A very interesting aspect of this strategy is that in the states where BJP governments are currently running, the elections will be woven around the faces and work of the current Chief Ministers. He may be retained in the future also, but the party high command will completely avoid making an official announcement of his name till the elections are over and the legislature party meeting. At the same time, in the states where BJP is currently out of power, instead of putting forward any one regional leader, the model of collective leadership will be completely adopted, because the old track record of the party shows that this formula infuses tremendous energy among the workers.
There will be electoral turmoil in these 7 states including Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat
If we look at the upcoming election calendar, assembly elections are going to be held in seven important states of the country next year. Of these, voting is likely to be held in five states during February-March and in two states by the end of the year i.e. December. Of these seven states, except Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, the remaining five states – Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa – are currently firmly in power under the double-engine governments of the BJP. The main goal of the BJP is to retain power in these five states with a record majority, while also registering a landslide victory in the opposition states like Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. In such a situation, BJP is confident that its new and modern election strategy will prove to be a game changer in giving it even bigger historic success than before.
