Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren held a cabinet meeting after taking oath on Thursday and after this he gave a big news to the women of the state and said that from December, Rs 2,500 will be deposited every month in the bank account of each beneficiary woman under the Mainiyan Samman Yojana.

Speaking to reporters after the swearing-in, Soren said, 'We had already decided that financial assistance of Rs 2,500 will be provided to each female beneficiary under this scheme from December. Now this amount will be deposited in the bank accounts of women beneficiaries every month from December.

Although no minister took oath along with the CM at the swearing-in ceremony during the day, the Chief Minister said that the decision was taken in the 'Cabinet meeting'. Later, in a statement issued by the Chief Minister's Secretariat, it was also said that this decision was taken in the cabinet meeting.

Let us tell you that currently the state government was giving financial assistance of Rs 1,000 per month to women in the age group of 18 to 50 under the Mainiyan Samman Yojana, which will increase to Rs 2500 per month from next month.

The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)-led government had launched this scheme in August this year, which is benefiting more than 50 lakh women of the state. According to election analysts, Mainiyan Samman Yojana played an important role in ensuring the victory of 'India' alliance in the recently held Jharkhand Assembly elections.

Apart from this, in other decisions taken by the Cabinet, the formation of an all-party delegation was approved to study the condition of the tribal groups of Jharkhand origin working in the tea gardens of Assam and the facilities to be provided to them in future.

While giving information to the media about the decisions of his first cabinet meeting, Soren said, 'The tribes of Jharkhand are being marginalized in Assam. A large number of natives of Jharkhand are living there. We have decided that an all-party delegation will study the ground situation there. The delegation will submit its report to the Jharkhand government.

The Cabinet also approved the proposal to set up a special cell in the Finance Department to find new sources of increase in state revenue and increase old taxes applicable in the mining sector. He also said that action should be taken to collect the outstanding amount of Rs 1 lakh 36 thousand crore from the Central Government.

The Hemant Soren-led Cabinet also decided to review the future examination process for police recruitment and directed JPSC, JSSC and other authority to publish an examination calendar before January 2025 for appointment to all vacant posts.

Hemant Soren took oath as the 14th Chief Minister of the state at a grand ceremony here on Thursday. On this occasion, many leaders of 'India' (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) alliance including Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi were present. JMM leader Hemant Soren (49) has become the Chief Minister of the state for the record fourth time.

Hemant Soren transferred after becoming Chief Minister, Avinash Kumar will remain Additional Secretary to Chief Minister, Anurag Gupta will become DGP and Manju Bhajantri will become DC of Ranchi.

The JMM-led alliance maintained its majority by securing 56 seats in the 81-member assembly, while the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) got 24 seats.

1. The honorarium of Mainiyan Samman Yojana will be increased to Rs 2500.

2.The recruitment process under JPSC/JSSC will be expedited in the state.

3. Action will be taken to collect the state's outstanding amount of Rs 1 lakh 36 thousand crore from the Central Government

4. The state government will work on multiple sources to increase the state's revenue.

5. Information about the situation of tribals and indigenous people of Jharkhand living in Assam for years will be taken by the team of all parties and officials.
