CM Mann gave a strong reaction on Raghav Chadha, said- action taken for going against party whip
Aam Aadmi Party has hit back at the statement of Rajya Sabha member from Punjab Raghav Chadha calling his removal from the post of Deputy Leader as a normal action. The party has asked Raghav Chadha why he is afraid to speak against the BJP or Modi government on issues related to the country and the party. Was continuously working against the party line. Raghav Chadha violated the party whip several times, including signing the impeachment motion against the Chief Election Commissioner and refusing to speak in the House on the LPG crisis.
What does the party say?
For a long time, Raghav Chadha has not raised any issue in the Parliament in which he has questioned the Modi government. The party says that Kejriwal has taught everyone to fight fearlessly and courageously, but Raghav Chadha is afraid to question the BJP and Modi government. How will the politics of such fear work?
Bhagwant Singh Mann said on the issue of Raghav Chadha that this is the party’s decision. Parties keep taking such decisions. It keeps changing its leader and deputy leader in the Parliament. When I won the elections for the first time, the party made Dr. Gandhi the leader. After some time, I also became the leader of the Parliament Board. This is the party’s decision. Such small decisions keep happening. Many times all the opposition parties in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have to take decisions unanimously. Like walking out of the House or protesting against the policies of the government. If a person does not support these collective decisions and goes against the party line, then he is against the whip of the party. If anyone goes against the party whip, action will be taken against him.
Senior AAP leader and MP Sanjay Singh said that we are true soldiers of Arvind Kejriwal and we have learned only one thing from Arvind Kejriwal – to fight and struggle with fearlessness, courage and courage. But with great regret it has to be said that when a proposal comes against the Chief Election Commissioner on various issues of the country, Raghav Chadha does not sign it. People’s voting rights are being snatched away in West Bengal. In Delhi we saw how the Election Commission was misused. When there is issue of Punjab, he remains silent and does not say anything. He does not raise his voice against Prime Minister Modi.
What did Sanjay Singh say?
Sanjay Singh further said that Raghav Chadha remains silent on issues related to public interest, country, Aam Aadmi Party and party workers. In Gujarat, AAP workers are beaten and beaten, but they do not speak on it. Modi government is doing the work of snatching away all the rights of Punjab, but they do not say anything on that too. When the matter of walking out of the House comes on many issues, he does not walk out at that time. These are all the things for which the country and the public want answers from Raghav Chadha.
Aam Aadmi Party’s Delhi State President Saurabh Bhardwaj told Raghav Chadha that we all are soldiers of Arvind Kejriwal and we have learned only one thing that “whoever gets scared, is considered dead.” We all had to raise the issues of the public by looking the government in the eye. In the last few days, we have seen that whoever raises serious issues against the government, asks questions to the government and talks about the people, the government is banning him like a dictator on all social media platforms. Be it X, Facebook or YouTube, it is being banned everywhere. FIR is being lodged. Lawsuits are being filed.
Saurabh Bhardwaj said that the government does not care whether someone does soft PR in Parliament. A small party has very limited time in Parliament. If someone is raising the issue of samosas, then it is more important to raise the bigger issues of the country. He said that in every state across the country, we have seen that before the elections, votes of genuine people are being deducted and by creating fake and false votes, the government is winning the elections by completely dishonestly taking over the system. The same is happening in West Bengal also.
Saurabh Bhardwaj said that now all the opposition parties wanted to bring a proposal to impeach the Chief Election Commissioner, but you (Raghav Chaddha) refused to sign it. Whenever an issue comes on which the opposition walks out, you do not walk out. For a long time, I have seen that you have not raised any issue in the House in which any question has been raised to Prime Minister Modi or the BJP government. How will the politics of such fear work?
What did AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj say?
Saurabh Bhardwaj said that we have to raise the issues of Punjab. You are afraid to even raise the issues from where you have been elected. Presently in Gujarat, FIR was registered against about 160 Aam Aadmi Party workers under false cases, many people were arrested, but you remained silent on that too. All the leaders of Aam Aadmi Party were in jail. Arvind Kejriwal, as the Chief Minister, was arrested by the government in a false case, even at that time you were not in the country and had gone into hiding somewhere.
Saurabh Bhardwaj further said that I believe that we will have to raise the real issues for the country with fearlessness and courage. Issues will have to be raised by looking the BJP in the eye. Otherwise the government does not care about these soft issues of yours. In fact, BJP has been supporting you on social media since Thursday. You will think about this and see where you started from and where you have come. What things does the country need and how can you do better.
On the other hand, Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Atishi asked Raghav Chadha why he is so afraid of BJP? Why is he afraid to raise questions on BJP? Why is he afraid to ask questions to Modi ji? Today our country is going through a big crisis. Today our country’s democracy and constitution are under threat. Today, the elections of West Bengal are being stolen in front of our eyes by misusing the Election Commission, but they are not raising questions on it. He is afraid to speak on it.
Atishi said that we all have seen how votes were wrongly counted in Delhi. BJP workers cast votes incorrectly and BJP stole the election. Today the same is happening in West Bengal, the Election Commission is being misused there too. But when Trinamool Congress and the entire opposition bring an impeachment motion against the Election Commission, Raghav Chadha refuses to sign it. Did he even once in Parliament raise questions on the attack on democracy in West Bengal? Raised questions on vote cutting? Raised questions on votes being cast incorrectly? Why did he not raise these questions? Is he afraid of BJP? Is he afraid of Modi ji?
Atishi said that today the biggest crisis facing the common man of the country is that of LPG gas cylinder. Raghav Chadha is a big man, he is a Rajya Sabha MP, maybe he does not face any problem. But a common family, living in a small house or a kutcha colony and having a gas cylinder connection, is facing great difficulty in cooking food for its children today. The father is thinking whether I should go to work and get daily wages, or stand in long lines and get a gas cylinder so that I can prepare lunch for my children tomorrow.
Atishi said that when Aam Aadmi Party raised the issue of cylinders in Punjab and Delhi Assembly, when Aam Aadmi Party MPs raised the issue of LPG cylinders and when Raghav Chadha was asked to speak on the issue of LPG, he remained silent. Is he scared of Modi ji? Today, every person in this country will have to decide whether he is with Modi ji or he is with the Constitution and democracy.
Atishi said that I remember that when Arvind Kejriwal was arrested, we all were standing on the streets and fighting. The police were beating us with sticks and dragging us. We were detained in different police stations of Delhi, somewhere in Narela and somewhere in Bawana. We were fighting on the streets every day and then Raghav Chadha was in London. He told us that he was undergoing an eye operation, hence he was in London. Then the media asked us a lot of questions. Time and again we told the media that Raghav Chadha is not afraid. He has a problem with his eyes and has gone to get his operation done. But today this question is also coming in my mind that when Arvind Kejriwal was arrested, was he still afraid of BJP? Was he scared of Modi ji even then? Did he run away to London in fear?
Atishi further said that it is possible that Raghav Chadha is afraid of Modi ji, it is possible that he is afraid of going to jail. But we are soldiers of Arvind Kejriwal. We are neither afraid of BJP, nor afraid of Modi ji, nor afraid of his agencies, nor afraid of going to jail. That is why we have been raising the voice of the common man of this country and will continue to do so in future too. We have been raising our voice for this democracy and will continue to raise our voice for this democracy. The Constitution and democracy will not be saved by being afraid of Modi ji or BJP. Today Raghav Chadha has to decide whether he is with the Constitution or with Modi ji.
At the same time, Aam Aadmi Party’s national media in-charge Anurag Dhanda said that we are Kejriwal’s soldiers. Fearlessness is our first identity. If someone is afraid of Modi then how will he fight for the country? The party gets a little time to speak in Parliament. In this, you can either fight to save the country or to make samosas cheaper in the airport canteen. Hundreds of our workers in Gujarat were arrested by the BJP police, did the MP say anything in the House?
What did Anurag Dhanda say?
Anurag Dhanda said that the right to vote is being snatched away in West Bengal. When a motion came in the House against the Chief Election Commissioner, Bhai Saheb refused to sign. When the party walks out of the House, they remain sitting to ensure Modi ji’s attendance. Raghav, you have been scared for the last few years. Are you afraid of speaking against Modi? You are afraid to speak on the real issues of the country. The one who got scared is considered dead.
