‘CM means corrupt mouth’, Akhilesh lashed out at Yogi Adityanath in the name of Shankaracharya
Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has taken a dig at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Explaining the new meaning of ‘Chief Minister’, he said that nowadays CM has also meant corrupt mouth. He made this comment targeting Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. During this, he also raised questions on many issues on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) governments of the Center and the state.
This statement came at a time when former cabinet minister Naseemuddin Siddiqui has left the Congress and joined the Samajwadi Party. Siddiqui’s joining the Samajwadi Party has been presented by the party as a sign of its political strength and expansion of social equations. On this occasion, Akhilesh said that those who join the socialist ideology are welcome and in the coming times, big changes can be seen in the politics of the state.
‘CM now corrupt mouth’
Akhilesh Yadav said, ‘Our Chief Minister is a player but is not able to play.’ Describing the political environment of both Delhi and Lucknow as ‘bad’, he raised questions on the governance system. Akhilesh Yadav has accused some leaders of insulting Shankaracharya. He said, ‘Whoever wears saffron clothes, we respect him but what kind of language is being used?’ He also raised questions on those seeking certificates from others through administrative channels and said that they should first show their certificates.

Question on ‘Make in India’
On the issue of defense procurement, Akhilesh said that when Rafale aircraft worth hundreds of crores of rupees are being purchased, then what happened to ‘Make in India’? He alleged contradictions in the economic policy of the central government. However, he refrained from commenting on the Epstein files, saying his focus was on domestic issues.
Allegation of irregularities in voter list
Akhilesh Yadav accused BJP of manipulating the voter list. He said that the reason for delay in Panchayat elections is a big scam in the voter list. He claimed that the signatures in the Form-7 were also added to the names of the people who had put the thumb impression. Reiterating the demand for a nationwide caste census, he said that reservation should be decided in proportion to the population.

What did Akhilesh say on Azam Khan?
On Naseemuddin Siddiqui joining SP, Akhilesh said, ‘Today the flower has come to us, someone else’s flower is withering.’ This is considered a sarcasm on BJP’s election symbol. On the ongoing speculations regarding Azam Khan, he said that injustice has been done to him and everyone wants him to be released.
