CM Nitish Kumar reached Sharda Sinha's residence, paid tribute

Patna, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday reached folk singer Sharda Sinha's residence in Kankarbagh after her mortal remains arrived in Patna and paid humble tribute. On Wednesday, the mortal remains of Sharda Sinha reached Patna from Delhi. After this his mortal remains were taken to his residence in Patna. Here people will be able to have their last glimpse.

As soon as the mortal remains of Sharda Sinha reached here, a huge crowd of her fans started gathering. Everyone is reaching his residence for his last glimpse. Here, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also reached Sharda Sinha's residence and paid tribute by placing a wreath on her mortal remains. He was accompanied by Bihar Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, MP Sanjay Jha and many other leaders. During this time, Nitish Kumar also met the bereaved family members of Sharda Sinha and consoled them. Earlier, the mortal remains of Sharda Sinha were brought from Delhi to Patna. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Vijay Sinha, Minister Nitin Naveen, Ashwini Choubey paid tribute at Patna airport.

On the instructions of CM Nitish Kumar, the funeral of Sharda Sinha will be conducted with full state honours. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar wrote on his Twitter account on Wednesday, 'Bihar Nightingale, late Sharda Sinha, awarded Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan, will be cremated with state honours. Instructions have been given to bring his mortal remains to Patna by air and to ensure all necessary preparations for respectful cremation.

Earlier, Nitish Kumar had expressed grief over the demise of the singer by posting on Instagram. Sharda Sinha passed away during treatment at Delhi AIIMS. The songs sung by him on Chhath became very famous and on the very first day of this festival, he said goodbye to the world on the day of Nahay Khay. On the demise of Sharda Sinha, a wave of mourning has spread across the country including Bihar.
