Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s mother-in-law was ill for a long time. He breathed his last on Friday evening at IGIMS, Patna. This morning, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reached Bans Ghat with his son to pay his last respects.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s mother-in-law Vidyavati Devi has passed away. He breathed his last at the age of 90. Vidyavati Devi, who was ill for a long time, was admitted to IGIMS, Patna for treatment 47 days ago, where she died at around 6:40 pm on Friday evening. Here, this morning Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reached Bans Ghat in Patna for his last darshan. His son Nishant Kumar was also present with him. During this time both of their eyes looked moist. Apart from this, Minister Ashok Choudhary, Trust Board Chairman Ranveer Nandan and many senior NDA leaders also reached Bans Ghat and paid their last respects.

It is being told that Vidyavati Devi was unwell for a long time and was undergoing treatment under the supervision of doctors. There is a wave of mourning in the Chief Minister’s family due to his demise. Many people associated with the political and social world have expressed deep condolences. Funeral preparations were completed at Bans Ghat, where he was cremated in the presence of family members and close ones.

CM Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant Kumar wrote that he is extremely distressed and heartbroken by the sad news of the death of his beloved grandmother. She was not only a grandmother, but also a shade of love and affection, whose stories, affection and always smiling face will always be alive in our hearts.
