Chief Minister Scheduled Caste and Tribe Civil Services Incentive Scheme run by Bihar Government has brought a golden opportunity for the youth of SC/ST category. This scheme has been designed with the aim of providing financial support to those candidates who have crossed the preliminary hurdle of various prestigious competitive examinations and are now preparing for the main examination.
Main objective of the scheme
The aim of this ambitious scheme is to empower the Scheduled Caste and Tribe candidates and move them forward rapidly on the path of success. This scheme provides financial assistance for the preparation of main examination to the candidates who have passed the preliminary examination of important competitive examinations like UPSC (Union Public Service Commission), BPSC (Bihar Public Service Commission), Bihar Judicial Service, NDA (National Defense Academy), CDS (Combined Defense Services), Banking, Railways, and SSC (Staff Selection Commission).
To avail the benefits of this scheme, candidates are required to fulfill the following conditions
They should have passed the preliminary examination of UPSC, BPSC, NDA, CDS and other competitive examinations.
They should be permanent residents of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category of Bihar. Eligible candidates who qualify the preliminary examination are provided incentive amount ranging from Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 for their preparation for the main examination. This financial assistance can prove to be a great help in realizing the dreams of SC/ST youth, so that they can focus on their preparation without any financial worries.
