Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday participated in the felicitation program of loyal senior BJP workers above 60 years of age organized at the North-West District Office, Rohini-29. The Chief Minister gratefully congratulated the senior BJP workers for their loyalty, dedication and continuous service. He said that the tenacity, sacrifice and discipline of these senior comrades, who gave organizational and ideological strength to the party for decades, are the basis of the huge banyan tree of BJP today. His guidance and selfless service spirit is a source of inspiration for the new generation.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that the present government of Delhi is a government of workers and the responsibility of the Chief Minister is linked to the honor and pride of every worker. He clarified that before taking every decision, it is ensured that the respect of the general public as well as the party workers is strengthened.
The Chief Minister said that by re-reviewing the incomplete hospitals, they are being moved forward in the direction of quality construction. Besides, by ensuring transparency in the pension and ration card system, new eligible beneficiaries are being added to the schemes. He assured that there will be no shortage of resources for the development works of Delhi. Appreciating the contribution of senior workers, the Chief Minister said that their guidance and dedication are an inspiration for the new generation and the BJP family will always be grateful to them.
On this occasion, area MP Yogendra Chandolia, Delhi Government Cabinet Minister Ravindra Indraj Singh, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, District President Vinod Sehrawat and other senior officials and workers were present. The Chief Minister said that the BJP family is always indebted to the invaluable contribution of these hardworking workers and is fully committed to their honor and respect. The dedication, discipline and experience of these senior comrades, who have provided a strong base to the party for decades, are the true foundation of organizational strength. The formation of BJP government in Delhi after 27 years of continuous struggle is the result of the tenacity, patience and organizational loyalty of senior workers.
He said that the dream of BJP workers, which was being cherished for years, came true on 20 February 2025, when after a long struggle, BJP government was formed in Delhi. The Chief Minister said that the Ayushman Bharat scheme was approved in the first cabinet meeting on the very first day of the government. The Chief Minister said that in the fields of education, health, transport, infrastructure and public facilities, the government has worked at a fast pace in just 10 months, so that the incomplete development works pending for 27 years can be completed.
