CM Saini will give a big gift to youth, guaranteed up to 20 crores for startup
Chandigarh:The enthusiasm of entrepreneurship in India is increasing rapidly, where more than 1.40 lakh startups are registered across the country. At the same time, Haryana is performing brilliantly in this case alone, where more than 8 thousand startups are present. Gurugram has emerged as a startup hub. Now the Haryana government has taken a big step to promote startups and small and small industries (MSME).
Under the self -sufficient India initiative, traders in the state will be able to get a loan of up to Rs 20 crore through the Credit Guarantee Startup Scheme (CGSS). If sources are to be believed, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini can announce it in the budget presented on Monday. Along with this, MSME will also get the facility to take loans up to Rs 10 crore. The government has also considered to reduce the 1.5% fee on these two schemes to 1%, which will provide relief to entrepreneurs.
The Haryana government has chosen 27 special areas for the development of startups and MSME, where this loan can be used. Earlier, under this scheme, the startup used to get a loan of 10 crores and MSME up to Rs 5 crore, but now this amount has been doubled.
Apart from Gurugram in Haryana, young entrepreneurs are stepping into the world of startups in cities like Ambala, Karnal and Faridabad. This step will not only strengthen the state's economy, but will also give new employment opportunities to the youth.
These 27 regions include aerospace and defense, automotive, pharmaceuticals, bio-technology, textile, electronics, food processing, gem-ornaments, renewable energy, IT and tourism. Apart from this, this loan can also be taken in areas like transport, financial services, education and health.
The Haryana government believes that investment in these sectors will promote innovation and development in the state. According to MSME Development Commissioner Sanjeev Chawla, the government is making special provisions to encourage youth towards startups and MSME in the budget. He says that by increasing the amount under the Credit Guarantee Scheme, entrepreneurs will get big support. This initiative is a strong step towards making Haryana a leading state in the field of startup and industry.
