CM Samrat Chaudhary: Bihar Assembly Secretariat has informed all the MLAs including the Chief Minister and government ministers about calling the session on April 24. The second session of the 18th Bihar Assembly was called. The session will start from 11 am. After the formation of the new government, this special session is being considered very special. During this, CM Samrat will present the trust vote motion. Today itself, former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had met CM Samrat Chaudhary.

Samrat Chaudhary took oath as CM on 15 April. According to the tradition of the Constitution, the new Chief Minister has to prove that he has the majority of the House. Under the Constitution, any government is considered legitimate only if it has majority in the Assembly. 202 NDA MLAs were elected in the Bihar Assembly elections held in November 2025.
