Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has made a big increase in this amount and has now made it Rs 1,100 per month. This increased amount will prove to be a strong economic support for the elderly, disabled people and widowed women. The government has a clear message that ensuring a dignified life of the needy sections is its top priority.

Who can take advantage of the scheme?

Mainly three categories are getting the benefit of this scheme: Old Age Pension, Disabled Pension and Widow Women Pension. The government has also clarified that the eligible people who have not been able to join this scheme till now due to some technical reason or lack of information, there is no need to panic. Soon, by running a special campaign at the Panchayat level, such left out beneficiaries will be identified and they will be brought under the ambit of the scheme after completing the necessary process.
