CM Samrat reduced the number of vehicles in his carcade, appealed to ministers and officials to save petrol and diesel.

Saving Petrol and Diesel : Recently, in view of the tension in West Asia, PM Narendra Modi had appealed to the countrymen to use less petrol and diesel. After which the Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states have decided to reduce the number of vehicles in their convoy. In this context, Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has talked about reducing the number of vehicles in his carcade.

Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary wrote in X Post on Wednesday, “Respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has appealed to minimize the use of vehicles to save diesel and petrol. Many important decisions have been taken in this regard. It has been decided to reduce or minimize the number of vehicles in the Chief Minister’s Carcade. An appeal has been made to the Honorable Ministers, Honorable Chairman and Members of the Corporation Board, all officials and public representatives to come to public programs without extra vehicles.”

The Chief Minister of Bihar further wrote, “The people of the state have been requested to emphasize on the use of metro, bus, auto or other public transport. All the departments of the state government have been instructed to ensure arrangements for all types of conferences or government meetings through video conferencing. Instructions have been given to minimize the use of palm oil in the canteens operating in the government offices of the state. It is advised to promote the culture of work from home in government and private offices. All people have been requested to organize ‘No Vehicle Day’ once a week.
