‘Everyone is not Shankaracharya…If you want to worship SP then worship it’, CM Yogi Adityanath jumps into Avimukteshwaranand controversy
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given a big statement regarding Shankaracharya. He said that everyone cannot be a Shankaracharya and no one can spoil the environment by going as the Acharya of every Peeth. CM said in his statement that everyone will have to follow the decorum. The Chief Minister raised the question that if he was Shankaracharya then why was lathicharge done in Varanasi and why was FIR registered. The Chief Minister said that those who talk about morality should first pay attention to their conduct.
CM Yogi said that where four and a half crore devotees have arrived, order and security are paramount. Along with this, he said that after bathing, no one should try to enter through the same exit gate from which the devotees are coming out.

The Chief Minister warned that such a move could lead to a fresh stampede and put the lives of devotees at risk. Apart from this, he said that a responsible and dignified person can never behave like this. He further said that if SP people want to worship someone, then they should, but the government belongs to dignified people and believes in the rule of law. The Chief Minister made it clear that maintaining order and safety of devotees is the priority of the government.
Akhilesh’s counterattack on CM’s statement
At the same time, while reacting to the statements of CM Yogi Adityanath, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav made a sharp attack. Describing the Chief Minister as a fake Yogi, he said that the current Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh is the most communal, un-democratic and uncivilized. Akhilesh accused Kanpur of being defamed and said that the government has been threatening him with bulldozers.
Apart from this, he also mentioned the incidents related to Shankaracharya and Triveni and claimed that the government is trying to hide the truth. Along with this, he said that the education system in the state has become weak and Make in India is also rusting.
There was a clash on the day of Mauni Amavasya
Let us tell you that on the day of Mauni Amavasya on the Sangam bank of Prayagraj. Shankaracharya Avimukteshwarananda Along with about 200 of his supporters, he set out for the Sangam bath riding on a chariot and a palanquin. The controversy started when the police stopped them at the barrier citing huge crowd. Despite this, Shankaracharya’s supporters broke the barriers and started taking the chariots forward amidst the crowd.
