CM Yogi announced in Kushinagar – Fazilnagar will now be called Pavagadh

Kushinagar, June 2. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced the renaming of Fazilnagar to Pavagadh during an event organized in Kushinagar on Tuesday. On this occasion, he mentioned the historical and religious heritage of the region and said that the new identity will honor the history associated with Lord Mahavir. In this sequence, CM Yogi accused the previous governments of giving protection to the mafia and also enumerated the achievements of his government regarding law and order, development and public welfare schemes in the state.

Fazilnagar will get a new identity

While addressing the program, Chief Minister Yogi said that the government has proposed to change the name of Kushinagar to Fazilnagar. Now it will not be known as Fazilnagar, but as Pavagadh. He said that the identity of this area is linked to Lord Mahavir, in such a situation why should it be called Fazilnagar. It is the responsibility of every person to be proud of his heritage.

CM Yogi said that earlier there was an atmosphere of exploitation in the state and the mafia had protection. Diseases spread, but the systems were not effective. He said that there used to be incidents of violence on every occasion and festival, whereas today the situation has changed due to the influence of the double engine government. He told that only in Kushinagar, 90 thousand people have got houses and toilets have been built in lakhs of houses. The government is providing free facilities like treatment, toilets and ration.

‘We have eliminated the mafia and mosquitoes’

He said that the disease of encephalitis has been eliminated in the same way as mafia has been eliminated from Uttar Pradesh. He said, ‘We have eliminated the mafia and mosquitoes.’ According to him, mosquitoes spread diseases while the mafia created unemployment and an atmosphere of fear.

Emphasis on the role of public representatives

The Chief Minister said that if the public elects good MLAs and MPs, they do better work for development, employment, security and control of diseases. They also play an important role in curbing mafia and goons, providing water to farmers’ fields and providing better prices for their produce.

Construction of Ram temple was also mentioned

CM Yogi said that about 498 years ago, a foreign invader had demolished the holy place at the birthplace of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. He said that the struggle over this issue continued for centuries and the sentiments of the entire nation remained attached to it. According to him, the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya gained momentum when the double engine government of BJP was formed at the center and the state.
