Big gift from CM Yogi, farmers of Jewar Airport will get increased compensation
Noida Airport: There is good news for the farmers who have given land in the name of Jewar International Airport in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in a dialogue held at the CM residence on Friday, has announced to increase the compensation rate for the third phase of land acquisition from Rs 3100 per square meter to Rs 4300 per square meter. This compensation will be given along with interest. The CM also assured that the affected farmer families will be given opportunities for settlement, employment and employment.
Jewar Asia's largest airport
The Chief Minister said that this airport will be the largest airport in Asia. It will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in April 2025. The validation flight has successfully landed here on 9th December. He said that regular flights will be started smoothly from here from April next year.
CM discussed on YIDA
On this occasion, the Chief Minister called the CEO of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YIDA) on the stage and discussed the land acquisition and settlement of the affected farmers. The CEO said that compensation has been given in almost all cases of land acquisition. Only some cases of succession and inheritance are pending. The Chief Minister gave instructions to resolve these matters immediately.
An MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhauling) hub will also be built on 40 acres along with the airport. This area will become a major center for maintenance of aircraft. The Chief Minister said that in the coming years this area will become the center of industrial and service sector activities. Jewar, which was once untouched by development, will now shine on the global map. He said that in two years, the acquisition of 1334 hectares of land i.e. about 3300 acres has been completed without any dispute. This achievement will give a new direction to the development of the area.
