CM Yogi described Delhi as a gas chamber, AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj took a jibe at Rekha government by sharing the video.
Saurabh Bhardwaj targeted the Rekha Gupta government of Delhi in a unique way. Aam Aadmi Party’s Delhi unit president and former minister Bhardwaj took a dig at Yogi Adityanath by sharing a video. He said that this video is actually like a “certificate” on completion of one year of Rekha Gupta government. In this video shared before the completion of one year of the government on February 20, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is seen commenting on the bad air and pollution of Delhi, calling it a situation like a “gas chamber”. Based on this statement, Saurabh Bhardwaj attacked the Delhi government and said that the opposition does not need to say anything, only the Chief Minister of other states is commenting on the functioning of the government.
While sharing the video of Yogi Adityanath in his post, Saurabh Bhardwaj wrote, “CM Adityanath’s certificate to CM Rekha Gupta government on completion of one year.” After this, the Aam Aadmi Party leader also wrote the same things in his post, which Adityanath is seen saying in the video. Actually, in the video, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh is seen commenting on the bad air and pollution of Delhi, which Bhardwaj presented as a sarcasm.
In the video shared by Yogi Adityanath, he expressed serious concern over Delhi’s air quality, saying that life of people in the capital has become “suffocating” and the conditions feel “like a gas chamber”. He said that when the Air Quality Index (AQI) crosses 400, people have to face problems like difficulty in breathing, irritation in the eyes and suffocation. The situation becomes extremely dangerous especially for the elderly, children and those with pre-existing medical conditions, so much so that doctors have to advise them not to step out of the house.
Yogi appealed to save the environment
Yogi Adityanath, while commenting on Delhi’s pollution during a program organized in Gorakhpur, praised the climate of Gorakhpur. He said that Gorakhpur has a “wonderful environment” where there is neither suffocating air nor do people face any difficulty in breathing. According to him, if the environment is protected then the same environment protects humans.
CM also said that only by taking responsibility towards the earth and environment, the society can get a safe and healthy future. He made this statement during a program organized on Saturday in Gorakhpur, where he inaugurated the Kalyana Mandapam (Convention Centre) built at a cost of about Rs 2.47 crore. Also distributed certificates to the beneficiaries of EWS/LIG category under Raptinagar Extension Sports City Residential Scheme.
In his address, he described Gorakhpur as a new model of development and said that now there are big projects like better roads, advanced health facilities like AIIMS Gorakhpur, medical college and fertilizer factory, due to which the city is progressing rapidly.
