UP News: Holi festival will be celebrated across the country on Wednesday. Even before this, CM Yogi has given a big gift to the people of the state. Actually, CM Yogi on Saturday released an amount of Rs 1500 crore for free LPG cylinders. More than 1 crore 86 lakh people of the state will benefit from this. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday released an amount of Rs 1500 crore for distribution of gas cylinder refill subsidy to 1.86 crore Ujjwala beneficiaries in the capital Lucknow. Along with this, CM Yogi also wished Holi to the people and beneficiaries of the state.
1.86 crore people of UP will benefit
After releasing an amount of Rs 1500 crore to the beneficiaries of Ujjwala scheme, CM Yogi also made a post on X. In which he wrote, “We are all grateful to PM Modi, who for the first time in the country connected the poor, Annadata farmers, women and youth with the public welfare schemes of the government.”

Along with this, CM Yogi said, “In the same sequence, the Prime Minister participated in the program organized in Lucknow for the distribution of LPG cylinder refill subsidy to 1.86 crore Ujjwala families of the state with the amount of Rs. 1,500 crore under the Ujjwala scheme. Hearty congratulations to all the beneficiaries for this gift received before the holy festival of Holi and best wishes to the people of the state.”

Free cylinder will be available on Holi Diwali
During the program, CM Yogi said, “In the Ujjwala scheme, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already arranged that 9 cylinders will be given in a year at subsidized rates, that is, whoever buys the cylinder gets a free connection. The central government gives you a subsidy of Rs 335.40 on each cylinder. These rupees are returned to your account.”

CM Yogi said that PM Modi is giving you subsidy on nine cylinders, apart from this our government has decided that before Diwali and Holi, we will provide one cylinder for free to every family. CM further said, “Today such events are being organized in the entire state, due to which every person is fulfilling the energy requirement of his house in a respectable manner.”
