Those doing black marketing of LPG in UP are no longer in trouble, CM Yogi gave instructions for strict action
CM Yogi Adityanath has given instructions to ensure uninterrupted and smooth supply of LPG (LPG) in the state. He said that no situation of any kind of panic should be allowed to arise regarding the availability of LPG in the state. Correct information should be made available to the people from time to time. On Thursday (March 12), the CM held a meeting with senior officials and top officials of oil companies and took a detailed review of the current demand and supply situation of LPG in the state.
CM directed that there should be no shortage at any level and the supply of cylinders to the customers who have booked LPG should be ensured in a timely manner as per the prescribed rules. Besides, proper information should also be provided to the consumers regarding the possible date of their next refill.
Chief Minister said the situation is normal
The CM said that the situation is not as serious as efforts are being made to publicize through rumours. Oil companies, while coordinating with the administration, should regularly inform the general public about the actual status of supply and distribution of LPG. He said that the Central Government is also making necessary efforts to maintain normal supply and distribution system.
Immediate FIR on hoarding and black marketing
Giving strict instructions, the CM said that if any distributor agency or person is found involved in black marketing or hoarding, then strictest action should be taken against him by immediately registering an FIR. He also directed that if necessary, police personnel should be deployed at LPG distribution centers, so that there is no chaos anywhere and the distribution work can be completed smoothly.
Officials informed in the meeting that the supply of petrol and diesel in the state is completely normal. There is no shortage of any kind in their distribution. Considering the current circumstances, 80 lakh liters of kerosene has been allotted to the state as an alternative. CM directed that it should be kept as an option and its distribution should be ensured as per requirement.

Instructions for setting up the control room
CM directed to establish communication with hostels, dharamshalas, hospitals, hotels and various business establishments and motivate them to use alternative fuels. While giving instructions to set up a control room in the Food and Logistics Department, the CM said that the situation in each district should be continuously monitored.
