CM Yogi will go to Ghaziabad today, high alert for 6 hours, special traffic plan implemented
In view of the possible visit of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to Ghaziabad on Thursday, the district administration and police have become completely alert. Security has been tightened in the city and additional police forces have been deployed on many major routes. The Chief Minister’s program is scheduled at Saraswati Vidya Mandir in Nehru Nagar, where he is going to attend an important meeting of Sangh officials. Keeping this in mind, the administration has declared high alert in the entire city.
Special traffic plan will remain in effect till 2 pm
According to the traffic police, the special traffic plan will be in force from 8 am to around 2 pm. During this period, traffic will be restricted on many routes around the venue and connected to it. Movement of heavy vehicles will be completely stopped. DCP Traffic Trigun Bisen said that people should get information about traffic diversion before leaving home, so that unnecessary jams and problems can be avoided.
The Chief Minister’s convoy will reach the venue by road from Hindon Air Force Station. After the meeting is over, his convoy will go to the police line and from there will leave for Greater Noida via helicopter. Special security arrangements have been made on this entire route. Barricading has been done at sensitive places and monitoring will be done through CCTV cameras.
Complete ban on entry of heavy vehicles
Under the traffic system, a complete ban has been imposed on the entry of heavy vehicles at many places. Big vehicles going from Atmaram Steel towards Hapur Chungi via Diamond Tiraha will not be allowed. Apart from this, trucks going from Lohamandi towards Hapur octroi via Vivekananda Marg will also be stopped. There will also be a ban on heavy vehicles going from ALT intersection towards Hapur Chungi and Rajnagar Extension. Trucks and other big vehicles going from Nagdwar towards Rajnagar Extension will also not be able to pass during this period.
Along with this, a ban has also been imposed on heavy vehicles going from Karan Gate towards Hindon Air Force Roundabout. The administration has made it clear that strict action will be taken against those who violate traffic rules.
Where is the biggest traffic change?
The biggest traffic change will be seen between Holy Child School and Kalkagarhi Chowk. Movement of all types of vehicles will be completely closed on this route. Even two-wheelers and small four-wheelers will not be able to pass through this route. Additional barricading and police have been deployed in this area.
Despite traffic restrictions, special arrangements have been made to ensure that emergency services are not affected. Ambulances and other essential services will be given passage on priority basis. The administration has also instructed school buses, office vehicles and transport operators to remain alert.
Arrangement of continuous police patrolling
Arrangements for security checks, metal detectors, CCTV surveillance and constant police patrolling have been made around the venue. Officials say that once the program ends, the traffic system will gradually be normalized. At present, the administration is fully active regarding security and traffic management in the city and has appealed to the people for cooperation.
