CM Yogi’s Japan tour: Seeing power-to-gas technology in Yamanashi Hydrogen Facility, he said – UP will become a hub of green hydrogen and sustainable energy
Japan/Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who is on Japan tour, praised the innovations taking place in the green energy sector in Yamanashi province and said that Uttar Pradesh is also moving rapidly towards clean energy and self-reliant future.
The Chief Minister said, “I express my heartfelt gratitude to the Honorable Governor of Yamanashi and his entire team that today they gave me and all my colleagues the opportunity to see Yamanashi Prefecture closely, know and communicate with everyone.”
During his visit, the Chief Minister visited the Yamanashi Hydrogen Facility located in Yamanashi Prefecture and saw the advanced power-to-gas system installed there in action. He appreciated the research and development work being done in the field of green hydrogen and clean energy technology.
The Chief Minister said that Yamanashi’s innovative model provides important guidance to accelerate sustainable energy transition and clean mobility solutions. This technology is an effective step towards meeting future energy needs with environmental balance.
He expressed confidence that Uttar Pradesh is all set to move forward with vast potential in the field of Green Hydrogen, Sustainable Energy Solutions and Innovation.
CM Yogi said that we have made the policies of Uttar Pradesh ‘proactive’ instead of ‘reactive’ and its results are in front of all of us today. In 9 years, we have succeeded in tripling the per capita income of Uttar Pradesh and the economy of the state. The State Government is committed to meeting future energy requirements through environmental responsibility, self-reliance and adopting modern technology-based development model.
