What is maglev technology?
The word Maglev is derived from Magnetic Levitation. This train does not run on tracks with the help of wheels like normal trains. Rather, it floats in the air a few inches above the track due to powerful magnetic forces. Due to no direct contact between the wheels and the track, friction becomes almost zero. This is the reason why this train can reach an astonishing speed of up to 600 km per hour. Electromagnets located under the train and on the track push each other, lifting the train and pulling it forward faster. For this reason it is called ‘flying train’ Is also called.
